Describing Software Architectures Systematically
The
complexity of large electronic control unit (ECU) systems is a major
challenge for automobile manufacturers and their suppliers. When
functionalities are developed for one ECU or a network of several ECUs,
formal system models facilitate communication between everyone involved.
To meet this challenge, dSPACE has added a system architecture software
device to its tool chain for developing automotive software: SystemDesk®.
SystemDesk makes the planning, implementation, and integration of
complex system and software architectures easier and faster. Use the
SystemDesk Simulation Module to verify system behavior and function
interplay with an early PC-based simulation. Working with formal
descriptions of the software architecture helps you handle complex
production projects and improves OEM/supplier processes. SystemDesk
supports the AUTOSAR standard and can generate the AUTOSAR Runtime
Environment (RTE).Easy round-trip engineering with the production code
generator TargetLink helps get software designs into production.
