1. General
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This patch can only be installed on an existing ConfigurationDesk 1.0
installation (dSPACE Release 4.2).

It contains also the prior patch ConfigurationDesk 1.0p1.


2. Problems Fixed by This Patch
----------------------------------------------------------------------

  - RapidPro ControlUnits (MPC565 processor) with slave application
    firmware V 1.2 cannot be used with DS1401/DS1005 real-time programs
    that have been generated with Release 4.2.

    The slave application firmware V 1.2 is shipped with Release 5.0 and
    RapidPro systems delivered as of November 2005 are already programmed
    to this firmware version.

    This patch provides updated versions of RTLib1401/RTLib1005 to achieve
    compatibility with RapidPro ControlUnits programmed to Slave firmware 1.2
    or higher.


Already fixed in ConfigurationDesk 1.0p1:

  - Module Configuration:
    Modules can support more than 1 monitoring signal per channel.
    SC-DI 8/1 and SC-CCDI 6/1: Wrong parameter range 'Low-pass filter frequency'
    PS-HSD 6/1 and PS-LSD 6/1: Wrong parameter type 'External clamping diode'

  - Configuration Manager:
    Problem with multiselection in channel list.

  - Project Application:
    Problem with updating the Project window after closing a project.

  - Hardware Access:
    Problem with disabled 'Next' button on 'Add Hardware Topology' wizard page.

3. Limitations

4. Installing the Patch
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To install the patch, you must be logged on with administrator rights.

Ensure that the active installation referenced by %DSPACE_ROOT%
contains ConfigurationDesk 1.0. If you are unsure, start dSPACE
Installation Manager and check whether ConfigurationDesk 1.0 appears
in the list of installed products for the active installation.

To install this patch, simply run RapidPro10p2.exe. The setup
will automatically locate and patch the active dSPACE installation.

If you do not have a RapidPro ControlUnit with Slave firmware 1.2 in use and
only install the patch to fix the ConfigurationDesk problems (i.e. 
ConfigurationDesk 1.0p1), some RapidPro firmware components have to be updated.
