Getting Started with TargetLink ---------------------------------- In the "TargetLink Production Code Generation Guide" you find a "Getting Started" tutorial and an introduction of the TargetLink features. You can open the online help any time via the Help button in the TargetLink dialogs. !! It is recommended to check that TargetLink is installed properly !! by trying at least one of the demo examples. To open a TargetLink demo example: - Open MATLAB. - Open the TargetLink block library "tllib". - Click the "Demos" button in the block library. - Select one of the demos, for example, POSCONTROL. - Open the TargetLink Main Dialog. - Click the "Build Host" button. - Run a simulation. All TargetLink demos can be found in \demos\tl 4. TargetLink Known Problems List --------------------------------- Simulink 6.2 changed the behavior of Merge blocks with preceding If- /IfElse/Else or preceding Switch-Case/Default Subsystems. Up to Simulink 6.1 (MATLAB R14 SP1), the preceding subsystem(s) with an output signal with reset behavior (instead of held) passed the reset value through the Merge block for at least 1 sample step. With Simulink 6.2 (MATLAB R14SP2), this changed for events where a valid signal is available. In these cases the valid signal is passed through the Merge block immediately. TargetLink 2.0.7 does not follow this change of behavior.
