- General Motors Corp.: Secrets of Embedded
Author: Ken Leininger, Product Development Team Leader, In-vehicle Embedded Controller Development Tools, General Motors Corp.
Abstract: Today, GM Powertrain awards ECU business to a number of highly qualified suppliers. While it is one thing to author the specifications for the development tools for these ECUs, it is quite another to assemble the prototype hardware and tools at the test bench, and demonstrate a mature embedded controls development environment to management and developers alike. “Secrets of Embedded Controls Development Tools Validation” will address issues related to the development of embedded tools and provide insight from the perspective of the ECU sourcing process.
