The terms set out below govern the use of the dSPACE website, which provides information on our company and our products. This information must not be used for anything other than noncommercial, purely informative purposes, except where explicitly stated otherwise in the Pressroom. No offers, obligations or binding statements by dSPACE GmbH, including but not only regarding the availability of products or the achievability of services, can be inferred from the above-mentioned information. dSPACE reserves the right to change, supplement or remove website contents without prior notification at any time.

 

All the texts, images and other contents of the website are protected under copyright law, both as individual items and in their entirety. It is not permitted to use the contents for purposes other than the information purposes described here, including but not only reproduction or publication to a broader public, without prior written consent from dSPACE GmbH or, where a different copyright holder is stated, from that copyright holder. 

Different terms apply to the information and images in the Pressroom. These are also the protected property of dSPACE GmbH, but their use is permitted for journalistic purposes. It is not permitted to make any alterations or modifications unless it is clearly stated that they do not originate from and are not authorized by dSPACE GmbH.

 

dSPACE takes great care in producing the information contained on the website and in checking it regularly. However, no guarantee can be given for the quality of the contents, including but not only that they are correct, up-to-date, and currently available.

dSPACE accepts no liability for any damage arising directly or indirectly from the use of the website or of the information it provides, unless deliberate or grossly negligent acts on the part of dSPACE can be proven.  

Where links to the websites of other providers have been provided to supplement the dSPACE GmbH contents, said links are intended solely to facilitate access to generally available information sources. The linked sites were inspected for illegal contents, but are subject to changes that are beyond our control. The dSPACE website is produced according to German law and made available for use on the basis of German law.

 

dSPACE is aware of the importance of personal data, such as names, addresses, and e-mail addresses, which can reveal the identities of website visitors. You can access most pages on the dSPACE website without having to provide any personal data.

For reasons of system security, we temporarily save connection data and information on the pages of the dSPACE website that were visited, the date and length of your visit, the type of browser and operating system you use, and which website you visited previously.

In addition, we save search entries and queries in forms, for example, for statistical purposes or for website administration, but these entries are evaluated without reference to you personally.

 

Personal data is requested in forms for various purposes, depending on the type of form being used: for example, to process support inquiries or to provide information materials. It is your decision whether to use such a form to contact us.

Inquiries from countries which have a local dSPACE company or a distributor (for details, visit www.dspace.com), are forwarded to that company/distributor if this is thought necessary for faster, more efficient processing of the inquiry.

No other personal data is stored, unless it was provided voluntarily, for example, when registering or when completing a questionnaire.

We will not pass on, lease, or sell the data to any third person. In some circumstances, we may use the data on your profession under your company address for advertising purposes.

 

IP Addresses
We trace the IP addresses of visitors to the dSPACE website. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are on the Internet. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, manage the website, track user movements, evaluate demographic information, and compile statistics on the daily number of visitors and daily inquiries about particular files. IP addresses are anonymous and are not linked to personal data.

Cookies
dSPACE may use cookies to save and evaluate your data, so that we can offer you a tailor-made, personal service. Cookies are small data elements that are stored on your computer's hard drive for future referencing. Please note that cookies help you make better use of our services. Google Analytics

Social Plug-ins / AddThis
This website uses AddThis, a free service that enables dSPACE to integrate sharing tools into the website so that visitors can set bookmarks and share pages with others in social networks like Facebook or Twitter. 

When you use AddThis elements, your browser connects directly to the AddThis servers and if necessary to the selected social network or bookmarking service. All websites regularly receive information collected via AddThis, e.g., about the website each user has come from, the browser being used or the general geographic location. The AddThis LLC company has its headquarters in the USA, so the collected data is also transmitted to the USA and processed there. AddThis assigns each user's browser a non-personally identifiable ID consisting of a random series of numbers and letters to distinguish users from each other. The ID is passed to the website owner as information on the number of users sharing the website contents.
