TargetLink 2023-B

New and improved features for better modeling and more efficient code generation

With TargetLink 2023-B, the SOLE (Systems Of Linear Equations) Solver block becomes part of the TargetLink block library. You can use this block to solve systems of linear equations with different numerically efficient transformations. It also provides an error output which makes it possible to handle situations where no solution is available, for example. The SOLE Solver block is helpful, e.g., when modeling Kalman filters or least squares curve fitting.
TargetLink 2023-B improves modeling by enabling the dynamic selection of variables at Data Store Read and Data Store Write blocks using the Simulink® "Enable indexing" option. Furthermore, TargetLink 2023-B supports the Simulink® parameter "Ensure output is virtual" to enable a smooth transition from classic initialization mode to simplified initialization mode.
Also in this Release, dSPACE extends the TargetLink AUTOSAR support. In Adaptive AUTOSAR modeling approaches and code generation, it is now possible to use the following C++ constructs: enumeration class data types, static casts, and namespaces on module level.
TargetLink 2023-B provides for the first time a text-based .DDJSON format of DD files that lets you better handle DD files in version control systems and text-based model-as-code workflows.
